Heidi Montag Confirms She Moved Out, Is "Working on Things" with Spencer Pratt

NEW YORK (CBS) Heidi Montag has moved out of the home she shares with husband Spencer Pratt.

"The Hills" star said that she and Pratt needed to spend some time apart.

"I needed some alone time," Montag told People magazine on Tuesday, confirming reports that she moved out of the couple's home in Pacific Palisades, Calif. "There are so many lies out there about me and I just needed space - even away from my husband."

"I had to get away from the lies my family and supposed friends are saying about me," she added. "It's time to concentrate on myself."

Montag told the magazine that she plans to spend the summer living with friend Jen Bunney, and that the two will be shooting their own reality show. She also said she is working on writing a movie script.

She also said that she and Pratt are working on their relationship.

"I've always loved Spencer," Montag said. "But right now we're working on things."
