Health Targets for Erica Hill -- and You!

At the start of Erica's attempt to squeeze healthier habits into her hectic days, her levels of three key gauges were taken: vitamin B12, vitamin D, and blood pressure.

Erica also had several fitness levels checked, to establish a baseline, including body composition, aerobic capacity, strength, and speed (one mile run).

Next, her lifestyle was analyzed, including areas such as nutrition, sleep, and time management.

Then, the experts taking part in "The Erica Hill Experiment" suggested daily recommended doses for a healthier life.

They included: 30 minutes of exercise, six-to-eight hours of sleep, nine servings of vegetables, 65 grams of protein, whole grains, healthy fats, carbohydrates, and eight glasses of water.
