Have A Ball!

The inauguration of President Bush hasn't stopped the music. Below is the lineup on the nine presidentialinaugural balls and other events.

Saturday, January 20, 7 p.m. ET

Officially, the ball is referred to in the singular, although 9 balls will be held simultaneously at 8 different locations. Each of the balls is considered "the" inaugural ball. Guests from the 50 states are divided among the 9 balls. Black tie is required for guests and the media.

8:30 a.m. - President Bush attends a church service at the National Cathedral.

3-6 p.m - Extended Public Tour of the White House. The Bushes open their new home to their constituents. They will greet the first 60 so or so people and then lead a tour.
