Gus Johnson

Gus Johnson is in his third year as a tournament play-by-play announcer for CBS Sports. Johnson calls play-by-play for CBS Sports' coverage of college basketball and football.

Johnson called play-by-play for the bobsled/luge at the 1998 Olympic Winter Games for CBS Sports. He is the current radio voice of the New York Knicks and also works as anchor and reporter for the Madison Square Garden Network's SportsDesk.

Johnson served as host of AT&T Yankees ScoreCard and the New York Rangers and Knicks GameNight. Before joining MSG, Johnson hosted Black College Sports Today on ESPN and also served as anchor for WTTG-TV in Washington, D.C. (1991-92).

Johnson graduated from Howard University in 1990 with a degree in political science. Born Aug. 10, 1967, he lives in New York City.
