Camera captures close encounter with great white shark off Cape Cod

BOSTON -- New video shows an extreme closeup encounter with a great white shark off of Cape Cod.

CBS Boston reports the GoPro video, which was shot by Dr. Greg Skomal, shows the 12-foot shark swimming up and chomping down on the camera.

The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy says the encounter happened Monday off of Chatham.

No injuries were reported.
