GOP Rep. Paul Broun on Speech: Obama "Believes in Socialism"
Updated 2:59 p.m. Eastern Time Wednesday
Georgia Republican Rep. Paul Broun appears to have Tweeted this in response to President Obama's State of the Union address Tuesday night: "Mr. President, you don't believe in the Constitution. You believe in socialism."
The comment has already been retweeted by dozens of people with some comparing it to Joe Wilson's infamous "You Lie!" outburst during a speech by the president in 2009 - though of course this apparent comment was confined to the internet.
Broun made news last week when he said a proposal that Democrats and Republicans sit together at the speech was a "trap."

"I already believe very firmly that it is a trap and a ruse that Democrats are proposing," Broun said. "They don't want civility. They want silence from the Republicans. And the sitting together being kissy-kissy is just another way to try to silence Republicans, and also to show -- to keep the American people from seeing how few of them there are in the U.S. House now."
Among the other Tweets from Broun Tuesday night: "Democrats' policies have hurt the economy-not helped it," "Obama's policies kill free-enterprise," and "All children will be poor if we continue with Obama's policies."
Broun elected not to watch the speech from the chamber but rather live-tweet it from his office "out of respect," according to Roll Call.
Broun stuck to his guns in an interview with CBSNews.com Wednesday. Check it out at left.
