Giuliana Rancic stepping down as E! News anchor
Giuliana Rancic will leave her position as a day-to-day anchor on E! News in August, the network announced.
Rancic, 40, will continue to co-host "Fashion Police" and "Live From the Red Carpet" and is slated to executive produce the show "Rich in Faith" for Oxygen.
"For more than a decade, I was fortunate enough to play a role in the success of E! News and will miss my family at the show," Rancic said in a statement. "This is such a thrilling time for me and I thank the gang at E! for understanding my desire to embark on this next chapter in my life."
The TV personality stirred up controversy in February when she said actress-singer Zendaya's Oscar-night dreadlocks suggested the smell of patchouli oil or marijuana.
