Gibbon "monkeying around" with a slackline show

(CBS News) We've seen quite a few cases over time of people walking a tightrope and performing slacklining shows here on The Feed, and they're almost always a pleasure to watch. Some go incredibly right. Some go terribly wrong. Some aren't even done by people. The above video is a case of the latter with a twist of bizarre thrown in. (For flavoring.) Take a look.

The cute clip from 2012 showing a gibbon "monkeying around" (though, they are actually "apes") was posted by the South African Animal Sanctuary Alliance who write:

Hilarious clip of Siam the Lar Gibbon at Monkeyland crossing the suspension bridge in a very novel way! You can visit Siam and Atlas the gibbons as well as loads of other primates including monkeys and lemurs (King Julian!) at Monkeyland, Plettenberg Bay, South Africa

The camera absolutely loves you, Siam! As do all of us here at The Feed now after watching your skillful and adorable antics. And for more videos of Siam and other exotic animals, be sure to visit the South African Animal Sanctuary Alliance's YouTube page by clicking here.

UPDATE: It seems that a member of the staff at the South African Animal Sanctuary Alliance commented to let us know there was another great video of Siam walking back across the tightrope, which I've now included below. Thanks so much for passing that along, Vijver!
