George W. Bush painting featured on Christmas ornament
Former
President George W. Bush’s painting hobby is no longer just for his own
enjoyment. One of Mr. Bush’s paintings is now featured on a Christmas
ornament available for sale by the George W. Bush Presidential Center.
The ornament, priced at $29.98, features an untitled painting of a cardinal in a decorative frame. The presidential center’s website says the ornament was “exclusively designed” for the center and is reminiscent of White House Historical Association ornaments.
Mr. Bush took up painting after leaving the White House. Earlier this year, he released a painting of his beloved dog Barney after the 12-year-old Scottish Terrier died. On Tuesday, the former president shared some of his paintings on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno.
