George Clooney arrives early at the Oscars with Stacy Keibler in tow

(CBS) Usually A-list stars show up fashionably late to the red carpet. But not George Clooney.

The Oscar-nominated heartthrob walked the red carpet on the early side Sunday night with his girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, in tow.

This red carpet thing is becoming the norm for Keibler, who accompanied Clooney to many of this year's awards shows this year, including the Golden Globes and the SAG Awards.

Keibler seems to have the awards scene down, resembling an Oscar statuette in her gold silk Marchesa dress. Clooney, looking dapper as usual, walked the carpet in an Armani tux.

He's in the running for the best actor award for "The Descendants."
