Gene Simmons in hot water with Shannon Tweed

(CBS) Gene Simmons has proudly stated many times that he's bedded lots of women (some estimates are higher than 4,000). And you know which woman has had enough of it? Shannon Tweed, the woman who lives with him.

On "The Today Show" with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, Simmons and Tweed appeared and Simmons, normally pretty quick with one-liners and wit, was stumped. And Tweed was fuming.

The attitudes stem from an incident in which Tweed saw a picture on TMZ.com of Simmons with two young women on his arms. As Tweed makes clear in the clip from "Gene Simmons Family Jewels," shown on "Today," she's done.

"I'm sick of hearing it, I'm sick of seeing it and I'm sick of living with it," says Tweed in the clip.

And on their "Today" appearance, Tweed was pretty icy toward Simmons and didn't let up.

The couple has been together 28 years and, as Tweed tells Kathie Lee, "Those last two were a bitch."

The hosts had trouble keeping it together, though whether their laughs were because they found the situation funny or awkward is unknown. At one point, Tweed tells Simmons, "Don't lump yourself with other men. They're good."
