Gayle King wakes up Oprah and puts her on speaker phone

During a Facebook Live interview with 16-year-old entrepreneur and author Maya Penn, "CBS This Morning" co-host Gayle King decided to give Oprah Winfrey a ring so that Maya, who called Oprah her "fairy godmother," could speak with her.

Unfortunately for Oprah, the call came in around 6:30 a.m. PT.

With Maya's help, Gayle put Oprah on speaker phone.

"Hi, Maya," Oprah said in a groggy voice, as the room burst into laughter.

Maya had met Oprah recently at Super Soul Sunday, which Maya described as "an out of body experience."

"She's one of the most beautiful souls on the planet, honestly," Maya had described prior to the call. "She has the most amazing energy."
