"Game of Thrones" meets Disney in musical parody
(CBS News) While we're all loving (don't disagree with me on this point!) HBO's epic television version of the much-beloved "The Game of Thrones" book series (and I did manage to get caught up on the latest episode for those wondering), things could have gone in very different directions. And one of our favorite musical parody groups with an affinity for princesses has decided to play out one version of what-might-have-been above. Click play to get your laugh on.
The tongue-in-cheek parody entitled "Disney Game of Thrones - Princess Daenerys" stars Evelina Barry as Daenerys (though voiced by Elizabeth Oldak) and Peter Hollens as Jorah Mormont, and was posted by AVbyte (aka brother Antonius and Vijay Nazareth), who have been featured on The Feed a few times now, and who write about this latest work:
What if Disney made Game of Thrones, and Daenerys were a Disney Princess? While I appreciate a good musical, my passion for this fantasy series has me shuddering to think of this alternate television reality... though I definitely loved and can laugh at the wonderful musical parody! A round of applause goes out to AVByte and the actors involved in this fun piece of work from all of us here at The Feed!
