Free Voicemail for Your Phone

Another gem on the web that can make your life easier and save you money. A site called eVoice.com will add voice mail to your home phone for free…. (sound) It's the same kind of system my local phone company charges 6.50 a month for and in some ways, it is even better. It answers while you're not home or while you are on the phone and lets you retrieve messages on the phone, through a toll free number, on the web or by email using real audio. You can be notified by email at the office, for instance, when someone has left as message for you at home. Signing up is simple. VP Rob Romero…

"You simply go to our Web site or call 1-800-get-evoice and fill out a very short form in which you give us simply the phone number you want answered and you answer some very simple questions, like your age, gender and zip code…"
That allows the company to play targeted ads when you call in for your messages… decide for yourself if it's worth it… (commercial sound) The commercials are not played to people who leave messages. We've got more Web money savers to tell you about at ThirdAge.com. Bootcamp, I'm Fred Fishkin for CBS News.
