France's Renaud Lavillenie wins pole vault with Olympic record
(AP) Renaud Lavillenie of France won the pole vault gold medal Friday with an Olympic record jump of 5.97 meters.
Lavillenie, the world indoor champion, has been the dominant pole vaulter in 2012.
