Fla. deputy Robin Leigh Pagoria accused of spanking girls, videotaping it

(CBS/WTSP/AP) BARTOW, Fla. - Robin Leigh Pagoria, a detention deputy for Polk County, has been arrested on charges of child abuse and child pornography.

Investigators say Pagoria, 45, made fetish videos of herself severely whipping two girls between the ages of 10 and 18 with her cell phone, then sent the videos online to her boyfriend, reports CBS station WTSP. It wasn't clear how Pagoria knew the girls.

Pagoria is charged with three counts each of aggravated child abuse, production of child pornography and promotion of child pornography. The person she allegedly sent the videos to lives out of state and is currently under investigation.

Sheriff Grady Judd said Pagoria worked in housing at the county jail. He said she was considered a good worker, aside from a domestic violence incident and some minor disciplinary issues. She had worked there for six years.

She resigned Thursday, in lieu of being fired.
