Evelyn Lozada, Star of "Basketball Wives," Gets Guest Star In Beau Chad Ochocinco
NEW YORK (CBS) Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco won't only be on the gridiron this September, he'll also grace yet another VH1 reality show.
The star of "Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch" will now be spending several weeks shooting scenes for the second season of "Basketball Wives" as the "love interest" to his reported off-camera girlfriend, Evelyn Lozada.
According to TMZ, Chad is all set to appear on the show next season. Sources connected to the show tell the gossip site that Ochocinco has inked a deal to shoot several scenes between September and October. And the shoots will be scheduled around his football obligations.
The website also reports some scenes will take place in Miami -- where the show is based -- whenever the NFL star can spare the time.
However, sources tell TMZ that VH1 wants Ochocinco material "so badly" it is willing to shoot scenes out in Cincinnati, as well.
The network was reportedly upset earlier this week when Ochocinco, star of another VH1 series "Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch," tweeted gleefully about his newfound love in Lozada. The network was apparently afraid that his tweets spoiled the plot of his dating series.
