Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling welcome a baby girl
Cue all the "hey girl" jokes -- Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have welcomed a daughter.
Us Weekly, citing "multiple sources," is reporting that the couple became parents to a baby girl on Friday, Sept. 12. People also confirmed the baby news.
It was first reported in July that Mendes was pregnant with the couple's first child. At that time, rumors swirled that she was already seven months along.
Mendes has kept a very low profile in recent months. Us notes her last red carpet appearance was back in February. And earlier this year, she brushed off pregnancy rumors during an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
"It's so ridiculous," she said at the time. "It all started because I didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport. You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy? They basically see you naked, right? And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out."
Mendes, 40, and Gosling, 33, who co-starred as parents in the film "The Place Beyond the Pines," began dating in 2011.
