"Entourage" gets movie green light
The "Entourage" gang will soon get together again.
A movie based on the HBO series has received the green light from Warner Bros., reports Deadline.
Negotiations are starting to get under way with stars Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven. The film will be directed by series creator Doug Ellin, according to Deadline.
Last time we saw the "Entourage" crew, Piven's character, Ari Gold, had decided to focus on improving his relationship with his wife, played by Perrey Reeves. At the very end of the episode, though, he receives a call from a film studio offering him a big-time job. Will he take it?
Perhaps the film version will hold the answer.
"Entourage" ran from 2004-2011 and featured a host of guest stars, including Mandy Moore, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Pauly Shore and Anna Farris.
