Emma Watson wins MTV Trailblazer Award
Emma Watson received a special honor during Sunday's MTV Movie Awards.
The "Harry Potter" actress, 22, delivered a touching acceptance speech while receiving the MTV Trailblazer Award, honoring her career and the unique roles she's chosen.
Since playing Hermione Granger, Watson has appeared in films such as "My Week with Marilyn," "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and the upcoming "This is the End" and "The Bling Ring."
The Trailblazer Award was presented to her by co-stars Eddie Redmayne, Logan Lerman and (via video) Jonah Hill.
"I look back at all of the work I have done over the past 14 years and many things come to mind, notably how bad my hair was in the first Harry Potter film!" the British actress joked while accepting the award.
"You have supported me in all of my awkwardness and allowed me to grow into the kind of actress and the kind of person that I hope to be so thank you very much for that," she told the audience. "Becoming yourself is really hard and confusing and it's a process... if you put your heart into something, even if it makes you vulnerable, amazing things can and will happen."
Emma Stone won the Trailblazer Award last year, when it was given out for the first time.
