Emma Stone goes green on the red carpet
(CBS) "The Help" star Emma Stone is making a habit of going green on the red carpet. For the second time this week, the red-haired actress faced photographers in a green outfit, and her Jason Wu gown for the Critics' Choice Movie Awards on Thursday night wowed red-carpet watchers.

Stone's green-and-blue floor-length sleeveless gown had a keyhole neckline, slight train and narrow black belt. She wore an emerald blazer over pants at Wednesday's People's Choice Awards and also drew smiles. Earlier in the week, she opted for a cream-colored dress for the National Board of Review awards gala.
Stone emerged as one of the Critics' Choice fashion winners Thursday along with "My Week with Marilyn" star Michelle Williams and Oscar-winner Charlize Theron. Chloe Grace Moretz, who has been turning heads all week, made a fashion misstep Thursday night and Tilda Swinton and Elle Fanning each had an outfit that elicited extreme reactions - you loved it or hated it.
The blonde Williams wore a long, black-and-white, draped Chanel gown with a V-neckline and a belt. She carried a quilted black clutch.
Theron, who usually finds just the right balance for her red-carpet looks, shone in a sleeveless black Azzedine Alaia gown with a long, ruffled skirt. She paired it with strappy sandals.
The 14-year-old Moretz, who had fashion bloggers abuzz with her red satin dress at Tuesday's National Board of Review gala, followed it up at the People's Choicewith a green and black age-appropriate frock. But the two-toned black Chanel 2011 with snug bodice and puffed sleeves that she wore Thursday night made her look about 8 years old.
Another young star who made a dubious choice was "Super 8" actress Elle Fanning. Her mint-green floral ruffled Rodarte spring 2012 gown drew raves from some bloggers and frowns from others who disliked the bold yellow and orange flowers.
In the same category was Oscar winner Tilda Swinton, who, like Williams, opted for a black-and-white monochromatic look. Her YSL tuxedo pants suit gave her an avant garde look that some loved and others hated.
