Lincoln Chafee on Clinton: Fundraising and organization "got behind one candidate"

"Secretary Clinton ran in '08, and then waited eight years and built up tremendous momentum. So this one was fairly unique in fundraising and organization that got behind one candidate. Everyone talked about coronation, about inevitability - all those issues made this one fairly unique.

"So anybody getting in just was faced with that dynamic, and I'm pretty practical - not gonna raise a lot of money, not going to have a huge organization, given that dynamic. So it's got to be very different. I'm going to try something different. Now Senator Sanders took off. And so we'll see how this unfolds. He'll even say, 'unexpectedly took off.' That's good for democracy, good for the party." -- He spoke with reporters after announcing he would drop his bid for the presidency.

Mike Huckabee: Hillary Clinton's Benghazi testimony

"I think that politically, Hillary survived because it was all about doing what the Clintons are great at doing. They first deny. Then they deceive. Then they distract, and ultimately, what they do is you know, they just go ahead and delay and they keep running the clock." -- interviewed on Fox News

Hillary Clinton: "I had a pretty long day yesterday..."

"As some of you may know, I had a pretty long day yesterday, but I finally got to answer questions, something I have been pushing for literally a year and I am just grateful I recovered my voice which I lost a little bit, but as I said at the start, I wanted to rise above partisanship and reach for statesmanship, and that is what I tried to do." -- in speech at DNC Women's Leadership Forum, Washington, DC
