The 43-year-old was rushed to the intensive care unit of Innsbruck's main hospital Friday after he was rescued from the snow. He had been skiing off marked trials in the westernmost Lech winter sports region.

In a statement Sunday the information service said there may be no change in Friso's condition for days. Earlier Sunday he was visited by his mother, Queen Beatrix, and his wife, Princess Mabel.
