Drug Treatment For Andy Dick
NewsRadio actor Andy Dick has admitted to drug charges, but he could have his record cleared if he successfully completes a court-ordered drug treatment program.
Dick pleaded guilty Thursday to a felony cocaine possession charge and misdemeanor counts of marijuana possession and possession of a smoking device.
The 33-year-old actor also pleaded no contest to separate misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and hit-and-run driving. He was sentenced to three years' probation and ordered to repay the city of Los Angeles for toppling a utility pole in a May 15 crash.
Dick must report back to court Dec. 10 with proof that he is actively participating in a drug-treatment program. Judge William Chides Jr. also restricted Dick's driver's license for three months.
