Driver, teen fatally shot after their van strikes, kills toddler
MILWAUKEE -- Authorities are investigating a fatal accident and double shooting on Sunday that left three dead -- including a 14-year-old and a 2-year-old, according to CBS affiliate WDJT.
The station reported that it appears that both the accident and double shooting were related.
Police say the two-year-old had run into the street and hit by a car. The 41-year-old driver, who police say stayed on scene, and a 15-year-old boy were both shot immediately after the incident, according to the station.
The driver died at the scene and the 15-year-old was taken to the hospital, but later died during surgery, reports WDJT.
The investigation is still ongoing, but police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
