Donald Trump cheers clinched GOP nomination with McDonald's feast
The Republican presidential nominee is lovin' it.
On Thursday, Donald Trump's penchant for celebratory food photos resurfaced again, when he cheered on his lockdown of the Republican nomination by chowing down on a McDonald's meal aboard his private jet.
He posted a snapshot on Instagram with the caption "Celebrating 1237!" -- a reference to the required number of delegates he recently earned to clinch the nomination.
The internet, as per usual, took the photo and ran with it.
A Reddit message thread popped up challenging its users to a photoshop battle, with some sassy results:
A few Twitter users with good memories noted that Trump hasn't always praised Diet Coke.
Trump's love for McDonald's, on the other hand, is well-documented.
During a CNN town hall with the candidate in February, Trump called the fast food chain "great stuff."
"I like cleanliness," Trump told Anderson Cooper. "And I think you're better off going there than maybe some place that you have no idea where the food is coming from."
