Domonique Ramirez (PICTURES): Texas beauty queen moving forward after crown restored
(CBS/KENS) SAN ANTONIO - Domonique Ramirez, a Texas beauty queen who was stripped of her tiara when officials said she was late to appearances, insubordinate and didn't maintain her weight, celebrated outside of Our Lady of Guadalupe in San Antonio after a jury decided she should regain her title and crown.

"I feel great. I left it up in God's hands, and that's why I felt I had to come here first," Ramirez said according to CBS affiliate KENS.
While Miss Bexar County Organization officials took her tiara, Ramirez says she holds no bad feelings towards the organization and is ready to start working again, reports the station.
"I'm not the type of person who can not put feelings aside," she told KENS. "Things that were said aside, that shouldn't be an issue now. I mean, we should be able to move forward. We're not going to stay in the past. It's about moving forward and trying to be a success for both parties."
The 17-year-old beauty queen told the station she would also like to share the crown with Ashley Dixon, the first runner-up who wore the tiara for the past few weeks while Ramirez was in court.
Ramirez is now preparing for the Miss Texas competition.
