Dolly Parton seeks to write her legacy - lyrically
(CBS News) There's no bigger showbiz icon than Dolly Parton.
She's composed more than 3,000 songs, and sold more than 100 million records.
From "9 to 5" to Dollywood, Parton's already left an indelible mark on country music -- and shows no signs of letting up.
"CBS This Morning" co-host Rebecca Jarvis sat down with the superstar this week.
During the candid one-on-one, Parton shared personal stories, reflected on her illustrious career, revealed an extraordinarily emotional reaction to Whitney Houston's funeral, and discussed the one thing she feels she'll always share with the late pop diva.
Parton has a new concert DVD/CD called "An Evening With...Dolly," available exclusively at all Cracker Barrel Old Country stores. She told Jarvis she's is in the midst of an ambitious, surprising project she views as the perfect way to cap - and capture her career.
