"Diana" trailer: A princess in love, with the world watching
The latest trailer for "Diana" has hit the Web, showing more of the biopic starring Naomi Watts as the People's Princess.
The film focuses on the last years of Diana's life, including her romance with heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan (played by "Lost" star Naveen Andrews).
The trailer shows the intense press scrutiny their relationship received -- Diana hounded by paparazzi, Khan's face on the cover of newspapers -- as well as Diana's commitment to humanitarian causes like the eradication of landmines.
In real life, Diana moved on after her breakup with Khan and began dating Dodi Fayed, with whom she died in a car crash in 1997.
Directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel, "Diana" will arrive in the U.K. on Sept. 20, and U.S. theaters on Oct. 10.
