"Desperate Housewives" Actor Doug Savant Drinks Beer, Gets Suspended From Little League Post, Says Report

NEW YORK (CBS) On "Desperate Housewives," actor Doug Savant plays the recurring character of Tom Scavo, as part of the most stable couple on the series.

But in real-life, as a little league dad, Scavo struck out for downing a nice cold one while watching his son play ball.

Apparently, another parent saw Savant slyly throwing back a beer out of a paper cup, and he wound up ousted, at least temporarily, from his role -- as league president, according to TMZ.

 It was evidently the last strike for the parent who reportedly also reprimanded Savant for violating parking regulations, according to the celebrity gossip site.

The actor was forced to appear before his Los Angeles Little League Board of Directors, and was suspended from his post for an entire weekend, reports TMZ.
