Derek Anderson Tirade No Laughing Matter

In the fourth quarter of a humiliating loss to San Francisco, Arizona quarterback Derek Anderson was caught on camera laughing with lineman Deuce Lutui (see picture at left).

In his postgame press conference, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic asked Anderson why he was laughing given the circumstances of the game, reports CBSSports.com's Will Brinson.

As you can see, Anderson was not thrilled with the line of questioning:

Here's the transcription of what he said:

"It wasn't funny. I wasn't laughing about anything ... Okay, that's fine. That's fine. That's fine. That's fine. That's fine. I'm not laughing about it -- you think this is funny, I take this f----- serious. Real serious. I put my heart and soul into this s--- every single week. I'm just telling you what I do right now what I do every single week! Every single week I put my freaking heart and soul into this! I study my a-- off! I don't go out there and laugh! It's not funny. Nothing's funny to me. I don't want to go out there and get embarrassed in front of everybody. I'm telling you right now -- Deuce and I were talking!"

When Somers tried to ask another question, Anderson just yelled "I'm done!" and stormed away from the podium. He wasn't laughing.
