Dean Cain

Dean Cain played Superman on the television series "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman," opposite Teri Hatcher. The series ran from 1993 through 1997 and focused on the romantic relationship between Lois Lane and Clark Kent.

Cain was able to draw on his athletic ability in the role. The actor had been a college football star and later joined the NFL, only to have his career derailed by a pre-season knee injury.
