David Ortiz holds baby during national anthem

David Ortiz wasn't in the Red Sox lineup Thursday night against the Royals but he was the one making headlines the next morning.

Before the game in Kansas City, a fan apparently asked the Boston slugger to hold his infant for a photo. Big Papi obliged but after taking the baby, the national anthem started.

Hence this classic star-spangled photo of Ortiz holding the baby in one hand and his baseball cap in the other.

It's enough to make you forget about Ortiz's dugout phone-destroying tirade last month.
