Daniel Day-Lewis tapped as Oscar presenter
A familiar face will be presenting at the Academy Awards next month.
Three-time Oscar winner Daniel Day-Lewis will return as a presenter at the ceremony on March 2. Day-Lewis, 56, scored the best actor trophy last year for “Lincoln. He previously won an Academy Award for his 2007 film “There Will Be Blood” and 1989’s “My Left Foot,” and received nominations for his starring roles in “Gangs of New York” (2002) and “In the Name of the Father” (1993).
Also set to present on Oscar night is Jennifer Lawrence. Several performers have been announced, including Karen O, U2 and Idina Menzel.
“Good Morning America” anchors Robin Roberts and Lara Spencer, along with actor/model Tyson Beckford, will host this year's “Red Carpet Live,” starting at 7 p.m. ET.
The 86th annual Academy Awards, hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, will air March 2 on ABC.
