"Dancing with the Stars" pro Kym Johnson injured

"Dancing with the Stars" pro Kym Johnson was reportedly injured during rehearsals with partner Hines Ward on Friday.

The dancer's rep told TMZ that Johnson was taken to a Los Angeles hospital for "precautionary measures to assure she is OK."

An eyewitness told "Extra" that the pair fell while practicing. The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that they sent an ambulance to the "DWTS" rehearsal studios, according to the report.

ET Online reports Johnson was taken out on a stretcher heading to a Los Angeles hospital.

She was wearing an oxygen mask when she was carried out, according to "Extra," and Ward was seen with his head in his hands,

Ward, a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Johnson are one of the four teams heading into next week's "Dancing with the Stars" semifinals. The other three pairs are Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff and Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas.
