"Dancing with the Stars" Fans Lament Voting Troubles

The three finalists are shown on "Dancing with the Stars," Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, in Los Angeles. ABC

NEW YORK (CBS) If you don't vote, Tom Bergeron warned viewers on last night's "Dancing with the Stars," then don't complain about who goes home.

But fans who did try to cast their votes after the first night of the two-part finale seemed to have difficulty doing so.

Complaints flooded Twitter after the show that fans were having trouble getting through on the phones and on ABC's website to cast votes for the three finalists - Kyle Massey, Jennifer Grey and Bristol Palin.

Some posted screen shots of the error messages they received, while others just lamented that they weren't able to vote.

Fans can continue to vote up until 11 a.m. EST. The judges' scores for each competitor's two dances Tuesday will be added to their overall Monday totals. The dancer with the highest combined total of judges' points and viewer votes will become the new "Dancing" champ.
