Covers of HBO's "Game of Thrones" title song hit the web

(CBS) - The first season of HBO's "Game of Thrones" has come to an end, but it seems fan music tributes of the amazing television series are just beginning. First up in the above video is an impressive violin cover of Ramin Djawadi's opening theme song for the show performed by musician Jason Yang. Take a listen.

And next up in the below video is a guitar cover of the same song done by YouTube user "OggirtMoonfrad".

Both are excellent tributes to a show and book series that has this blogger hooked.  Hopefully they will help to pass some of the time until the next season revs back up sometime around the Spring or Summer of 2012.
