Couple found shot to death in California mansion
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. - A couple was found shot to death inside their luxury Southern California home Sunday morning and their 8-year-old son was found seriously injured but is expected to survive.
Bradford Sachs, 57, and Andra Sachs, 54, were found in bed with several gunshot wounds inside their nearly 9,000-square-foot San Juan Capistrano house, reports CBS Los Angeles.
Their 8-year-old son was found seriously injured in the home, but is
expected to survive. A source tells the station the child was shot and
paralyzed as a result.
The couple’s two teenage daughters were also reportedly home at the time of the incident, but were unharmed. Deputies responded to the home early Sunday after someone called 911 from inside the home.
Family and friends say the couple was long-divorced with five children but lived and conducted business together, reports the Associated Press.
Police have not named a suspect in the case, but say the incident is isolated.
Investigators working the case are looking into the
couple's past business and property dealings, and a series of lawsuits dating
back to the 1990s in an effort to identify a suspect(s) and/or motive, according to CBS Los Angeles.
