Stabbing at Pa. Hebrew school
RADNOR, Pa. -- A former employee of a Hebrew school in suburban Philadelphia stabbed and threw bleach in the face of a current employee, reports CBS Philly.
The incident happened shortly after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Jack Barrack Hebrew Academy in Bryn Mawr. According to investigators, a former kitchen worker stabbed a current kitchen worker, and also threw bleach in his face.
The victim was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center with serious injuries to his hands, CBS Phillyreported, and is expected to survive.
The suspect was taken into police custody shortly after the stabbing
A statement from the school said "as a precautionary measure, our school immediately followed our lock down procedure and at no time was any student or employee in any danger."
The incident is under investigation.
