(CBS/AP) TAMPA, Fla. - An 18-month old Tampa girl was injured Sunday afternoon when her mother rammed their car into a house while trying to run over a man, police say.

According to the St. Petersburg Times, the arrest report states that Tamika Lashaunda Willis, 29, "threw" her daughter into the car without buckling her into a car seat then attempted to run over a 49-year-old man several times, ramming the car into his house and a fence.

The baby was thrown multiple times into the dashboard during the incident, which police say caused a large lump on her forehead. She was taken to a local hospital and the Department of Children and Families was contacted.

Willis is being held without bail in the Hillsborough County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated child abuse. She is also being held on a probation charge stemming from a 2010 battery conviction.
