"Community" season 6 to premiere March 17

School will be back in session this spring for "Community" fans.

The sixth season of the cult-favorite comedy will premiere on its new Yahoo Screen home on March 17, it was announced Tuesday.

Two episodes will debut on that day, followed by a new episode each Tuesday after that.

Speaking at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, series creator Dan Harmon said "there wasn't any talk" of debuting the episodes in a binge-all-at-once format. "I feel in my old school bones that this is the right way to do it. Maybe old school is the best school? It is for rap."

Plus, star Joel McHale quipped, "The episodes are 70 hours apiece."
