Common Confirms Split with Serena Willaims

NEW YORK (CBS) Rapper-actor Common said that he and tennis star Serena Williams have ended their two-year relationship.

In an interview with FOX station WFLD in Chicago on Tuesday, he confirmed that he is unattached.

"I am single," he said. "I am a single man, definitely."

Although reports speculated that the breakup wasn't amicable, the Chicago native said in the interview that he and "tennis" are on good terms.

"I still have a high respect for tennis, but I'm definitely a single man. But everything is good with tennis."
