CNN's Erin Burnett is engaged

(CBS) Erin Burnett has more to celebrate than just her new CNN show - she's also engaged.

The former CNBC reporter, 34, is set to marry Citigroup executive David Rubulotta, the New York Post reports.

According to the paper, Burnett revealed the news to guests at the launch party for "Erin Burnett OutFront" on Sept. 27, where she walked the red carpet sporting a diamond ring. She reportedly gushed that Rubulotta proposed the month before.

Burnett's rep confirmed the engagement to Yahoo.

The two met when Burnett was a vice president at Citigroup, before she joined CNBC, according to the Daily Mail.
