(CBS News) "Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre has a book deal for the vanity cards that appear momentarily at the end of his CBS TV shows.

"What Doesn't Kill Us, Makes Us Bitter" is the title of the coffee table book to be published by Simon & Schuster, also a CBS company.

Lorre, the show runner behind "The Big Bang Theory" and "Mike & Molly" as well as "Two and a Half Men," is known for the vanity cards that end his shows. During the dustup last year with former "Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen, Lorre used the cards to answer back at Sheen's slams.

In one card played after a February 2011 episode of "Men," Lorre wrote about his lack of vices and added, "If Charlie Sheen outlives me, I'm gonna be really pissed." Lorre's cards even included an apology to his father for being an idiot teen.

The book reportedly will include some cards that CBS prevented the producer from airing.

The book is expected to cost $100 with proceeds going to the Dharma-Grace Foundation that Lorre set up in 1999 to help offer free medical care.
