Binkley, who will play an 11-week engagement, heads up a cast that includes Amray-Faye Wrigth as Velma Kelly, Brent Barret as Billy Flynn, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and Rox Ryan as Matron "Mama" Morton.
The 57-year-old's last turn as an actress was when she guest starred in an episode of "Ugly Betty" in 2009. She also appeared in 1997s "Vegas Vacation."
Since the Broadway revival opened 15 years ago, the role of Roxie has been played by Brooke Shields, Ashlee Simpson and Michelle Williams (of Destiny's Child), among others.
Gwen Verdon originated the role on Broadway in the 1970s and Renee Zellweger took it on in the 2002 hit movie that also starred Richard Gere and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
