Chelsea Handler: I dated 50 Cent

(CBS) On "Piers Morgan Tonight," Chelsea Handler confirmed that she'd gone out with 50 Cent.

"We dated," she said. "Very casually."

Morgan asked what it was like to date the musician. "He's fun. He's a great guy," she said. "He's the complete antithesis of what you would imagine. He's a sweetheart. He's sweet, funny. He has a great sense of humor."

Handler wouldn't confirm or deny a rumor that she received gifts from Fiddy and returned them, but said, "I don't like gifts from rappers in general since I'm not a hooker."

Handler's latest book, "Lies that Chelsea Handler Told Me," was released May 10.
