Chelsea Handler, 50 Cent Dating? Talk Show Host Denies Claim Via Twitter

NEW YORK (CBS) Are 50 Cent and Chelsea Handler an item?

The noted rapper and the "Chelsea Lately" host were spotted getting cozy at a New Orleans club, according to published reports.

TMZ posted a picture of the pair at the New Orleans nightspot appearing to be intimate and engaged in conversation, very close to one another.

The 35-year-old talk show host took to her Twitter account to deny claims of a potential romance. "Everyone, calm down," Handler tweeted. "I met with mr. Cent about a potential project. There's nothing to report yet, ill let you know if there is."

"Potential project" could mean anything from a creative production to another shot at love. 50 Cent so far has not spoke of their meet-up, but tweeted on Thursday that he was heading to Los Angeles "for a film meeting." That's the same city where Handler's talk show is taped. The two could potentially star in a film project together.
