James Corden has had plenty of high-profile passengers on “Carpool Karaoke,” but Lady Gaga still stands out.
The “Bad Romance” singer tagged along for a morning commute with Corden, and it turned out to be possibly his longest ride yet.
Corden and Gaga hit the road and worked their way through several of her hits from over the years, starting with her latest single, “Perfect Illusion,” before getting to “Bad Romance,” “Edge of Glory,” “Born This Way” and “Poker Face” -- with Corden wisely getting out of Gaga’s way as she belted out the showier parts.
Corden even let Gaga try out her freshly minted first driver’s license, taking the wheel for part of the trip -- but the results seemed terrifying for both the host and his crew following along behind, who witnessed at least one near-sideswiping of a parked car. It’s probably for the best that Corden brought along a safety helmet.
