Chaka Khan backs out of Whitney Houston Grammy tribute
(CBS) Chaka Khan backed out of performing at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.
The soul/funk star was asked to sing as part of a musical tribute to the late Whitney Houston that also included Jennifer Hudson. But she had second thoughts.

Khan tweeted that she wasn't ready to perform after the passing of her friend.
In 1978, Khan released the song "I'm Every Woman," written by the songwriting team Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson. Houston later recorded a hit version of the track for "The Bodyguard" soundtrack.
