CBS News journalist: Trump rallies have grown more hostile
Tension surrounding Donald Trump's presidential campaign boiled over again Saturday.
A man rushed the stage at a Trump rally in Dayton, Ohio. Secret Service agents surrounded Trump, and the man was removed.
This follows chaos in Chicago Friday night: Clashes between Trump supporters and demonstrators.
CBS News digital journalist Sopan Deb was handcuffed and charged with resisting arrest - though video shows he identified himself as a reporter and did not resist.
Deb says Trump's rallies have grown more hostile.
"There have been protests going on in Donald Trump rallies for months and months and months," Deb said in an interview with CBS' "Face the Nation." "This is nothing new. However there has definitely been a recent uptick. I have certainly never seen anything like last night. That was unprecedented. There had been other groups of coordinated protests at past rallies but nothing as massive as I saw last night. There were, you know, four or five sections at least taken over by the protesters inside a large arena that could seat almost up to nine, 10 thousand."
Tune into "Face the Nation" this Sunday for Donald Trump as well as Sopan Deb.
